Muhammad Ali Shabbir

Muhammad Ali Shabbir is the chief guest in this seminar. He is the advisor for SC-STO-OBC and Minorities Welfare in the Telangana government. He has great influence in the Telangana government. He is responsible for the four percent reservation for Muslims in the Rajasekhar Reddy government. In the year 1970, Muhammad Ali Shabbir started his career as a leader of NSUI.

In 1989, Mohammad Ali Shabbir contested for the first time from the Kama Reddy Assembly seat and achieved a resounding victory.

He was inducted as a minister in the Marichana Reddy government.

In 1993, he played an important role in the establishment of the Minority Welfare Department for the first time in the country.

In 2004, Mohammad Ali Shabbir played an important role in providing 4% reservation to Muslims.
Mohammad Ali Shabbir played an important role as the Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Council from 2015 to 2018.
