Indian Film made a deep, indelible impression on his psyche; thus, he was determined to immerse himself in the nuances of filmmaking. To learn and experience the craft, he joined D. Rama Naidu Studios (Suresh Productions), one of the biggest production houses in the world and the heartthrob of Filmmaking in various languages.
Being well versed in languages like Hindi, Telugu, Urdu, and English, it becomes easy for him to be busy to the core in the formative years and essay various roles of filmmaking with numerous esteemed Directors. In this process, he worked with Dr. Ramanaidu, Satish Kaushik, Boney Kapoor, Vasu Bhagnani, D. Suresh Babu, Yogesh Ishwar, Subhash Ghai, etc., and did Films like ‘Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain’ (Anil Kapoor & Kajol), ‘Hamara Dil Aap Ke Paas Hai’(Anil Kapoor & Aishwarya Rai), ‘Aaghaaz’ (Sunil Shetty & Sushmita Sen), ‘Mujhe Kuchh Kehna Hai’ (Kareena Kapoor & Tusshar Kapoor), ‘Badhai Ho badhai’ (Anil Kapoor & Shilpa Shetty), etc.
Became Independent in the year 1998 and formed his company, “ Telecine Inc. Productions” in 1999. In order to put his personal stamp that cuts across films, genres, and decades, he started by Directing Ad Films, Serials, Documentaries, and Feature Films. Till date, Habieb has Directed 03 Feature Films, 42 Ad Films, 4 Serials, and 29 Documentaries. The Popular among these are Bhoot Bhaijaan (Hindi Feature Film), Maamu Tension Nai Leneka (Hindi Feature Film), Deal (Aithey Enty-Telugu Feature Film), Ninu Choodaka Nenundalenu (Telugu Feature Film), Sansani Kheiz (TV Serial for ETV Urdu), Kurnool Floods (Documentary). Habieb has worked as a film journalist for print media, in addition to being involved in films. Habieb’s articles have been published in various publications such as “The Siasat Daily”, “The Munsif Daily”, “Rahnuma e Deccan” Daily, and “Awami Eqtedaar” Weekly. In 2008, Habieb entered the field of electronic media by establishing a news channel called “Urdu TV.” The channel’s journey began with the blessings of Imam-e-Kaaba. Habieb served as the managing director and executive editor of Urdu TV until 2014. In 2015, he launched “T TV Urdu” in collaboration with the Dy CM of Telangana, continuing his role as CEO and executive editor until 2021.
In 2022, Habieb relaunched Munsif TV, a well-known satellite news channel that had closed following the death of Mr. Khan Latif Khan. He is currently serving as the CEO and editor-in-chief of Munsif TV, which is recognized as India’s leading Urdu satellite news channel.
